Tan Trao is a historical relic area, and acted as a revolutionary base for Vietnam in the Before August Revolution period. It used to be the temporary capital of the liberated area.

Main relics: Tan Trao communal house, Hong Thai communal house, Tan Trao banian tree, Na Lua tent where President Ho Chi Minh lived from June to August, 1945, before he returned to the capital Hanoi.
