Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)


The DMZ is a collection of many war historic relics along Northern and Southern banks of Ben Hai river, associated with the 17th parallel, it has famous places such as Hien Luong bridge, Ben Hai river, Mieu slope, Tien Dune, Gio Linh, Khe Sanh, Ta Con, Vay village, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and Cam Lo.

The road No. 9 from Dong Ha town to the Lao Bao border gate to Laos was one of the key traffic routes during the war.

One of the important sightseeing locations is the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, a relic of the bloody 81-day- night war to protect the ancient citadel in the summer of 1972.

Visiting the DMZ, tourists can go to other tourist locations such as Cua Tung, Cua Viet, Truong Son Martyr Cemetery and La Vang church.
