Ba Na ethnic minority is one of the most populated native ethnic minorities in the Central Highland. They live mostly in KonTum province.
Visiting Ba Na village, tourists will see square or rectangular stilted houses with sophisticated wooden carved staircases. Ba Na people were the first ethnic minority in the Central Highland to learn to use writing and use buffaloes and oxen to plough fields.
Like many other ethnic minorities in the Central Highland, in the middle of the house floor of Ba Na people, there is a cooking fire that is always active; the cooking fire is the living center of the family.
